Salon Related Injuries

Eye injuries can occur during a variety of salon and beauty treatments, including hair services, chemical treatments, eyelash extensions, lash lifts, eyebrow tinting, and other cosmetic procedures performed near the eyes. Exposure to chemicals, adhesives, fumes, or improperly applied products can cause corneal abrasions, chemical burns, infections, allergic reactions, vision impairment, and other serious complications. In some cases, eye injuries may require emergency medical treatment and can result in long-term vision problems. Beauty professionals are expected to follow proper safety procedures and take precautions to protect their clients' eyes during services. When a salon's negligence causes an eye injury, the injured client may be entitled to compensation for medical treatment, lost wages, pain and suffering, and other damages.
