In Texas and uncontested divorce is also called an agreed divorce because in order to have an uncontested divorce the spouses must agree on all divorce related issues. This includes grounds for the divorce, all matters relating to the children including custody and child support, and the division of all property and marital assets. In most cases, spouses who have an uncontested divorce can be granted a divorce 60 days after the divorce is filed.
